Hello again! Just a quickie about second hand/used/yard sale DollyRock outfits. Although DollyRock no longer has an official presence in Second Life I’m aware that there will be people selling DR items second hand. I’ve always made my outfits transfer as I believe if you’ve bought it you should be able to pass it on whether that’s giving it to an alt or selling it at a yard sale. So if you see DR items being sold second hand that’s fine with me.
The only note of caution I would sound is that it’s possible there might be pieces missing or the modifiable prims might have been altered. With that in mind I won’t be able to offer support on any items bought after 28th May 2010. If you have a problem with items purchased after that date please look for the ‘last owner’ in the edit window and contact them.
In other news, how are you? I’ve missed you! My writing is going well but there’s a big hole where designing used to be. I haven’t been logging in much since I closed the sim and with the changes going on in SL recently it’s all a bit unsettling, but more about that on my ranty blog.
I’ve been dipping a toe in the water over at inworldz.com. If you’re over there do look me up, same name – Cherry Cheevers.
Today’s the day….less than 24 hours until DollyRock is no more. The sim is sold and will be cleared just before midnight tonight Friday 28th May 2010.
This is the end of the monster sale and your very last chance to grab those bargains, all the main store is set at 75L per outfit, the bargain basement is all 50L and I’ve put the xtra raunchy Xtreme out in the courtyard and they are all set to 75L too. Perfect for your naughty alt or naughtier friend 
Everything is transferable except the freebies and lucky chair items.

Oh yes…I’ve had a couple of people ask me if I’m ill….and no, no….really…I’m fine. Just need a break, recharge the batteries, learn some new skills etc etc. I’m not leaving SL so please say hi if you see me around.

Forgive me for indulging myself but I wanted to share some of the awwws…grrrrrs…and lolz from the last (almost) 4 years of DollyRock.
AWW: First of all the breathtaking generosity of Julia Soothsayer, mega popular owner/designer of Awesome Designs who, when I was brand new, IMed me out of the blue to say she liked my designs and thought I’d do very well. I was blown away that someone as pretigious and awe-inspiring would take the time to notice me and I had to double-check her profile. This was really THE Awesome Designs owner? She was kindness itself and its something I’ve never forgotten.
LOLZ: The guy who threatened to close down my store because he was annoyed that I didn’t actually sell the suit being worn by a male model accompanying my DollyRock model in a display picture. How would he close me down? Well, he knew ALL the strippers in Second Life and he’d tell them never to shop at DollyRock again!
Lake – because you’re likely to get in some very deep water with this one!! Sexy t-shirt in textured blue cotton. Unzipped frayed denim shorts with optional lace panties (two pairs – one black, one white). I’ve included the tribal flower tattoo and that comes on the underpant/undershirt layer, plus the shirt/pants layer or if you’re using the new Second Life Viewer I’ve also made a version for the brand new tattoo layer! Comes complete with silver bangles and earrings. The textured denim boots are sold separately. Both are available at only 100L for today only, Sunday 2nd May until midnight SL time.
